Step 6. Weigh the material in the second container.
Step 7. Divide the weight by the sample time in minutes to get your
calibration weight.
Step 8. Write the OP%, Weight, and date in LOW RATE CAL%
Reading # 1.
Step 9. Repeat this procedure for Readings #2, and #3. This will
insure a higher degree of accuracy.
High Feed Rate
Step 1. Set the Operational Percentage (OP%) to a percentage point
above the expected operational range. For Example: 30-40%
anticipated operating range (OP%). Set the OP% for the high
rate samples at 50% which is your HIGH RATE CAL% on the
form. (See Feeder Verification Procedures, Paragraph 5.3.1,
sub paragraph 12 e for instructions)
Step 2. Start the feeder.
Step 3. Allow the feeder to run until the material is flowing smoothly
into one of the containers.
Step 4. Divert the material stream to a second container for a selected
period of time.
Step 5. When the time period is up, divert the material flow back to
the first container.
Step 6. Weigh the material in the second container.
Step 7. Divide the weight by the sample time in minutes to get your
calibration weight.
Step 8. Write the OP%, Weight, and date in HIGH RATE CAL%
Reading # 1.
Step 9. Repeat this procedure for Readings #2, and #3. This will
insure a higher degree of accuracy.

Step 1. Press the Config button.
Step 2. Enter the Security Code Number. Press the Enter button. The
Main Menu appears.
Step 3. Press the down arrow until the cursor is next to the Rate Cal-
ibration sub-menu
Step 4. Press the Enter button. The Rate Calibration sub-menu
appears.
Step 5. Press the down arrow until the cursor is next to the “LO
RATE CAL % 00.0".
Step 6. Entering the Lo Rate Calibration data.
Step 7. Press the Clear button.
Step 8. Enter the Low Rate OP% value used in the low rate sampling
runs. In our example% 20.0 (Default is 20.0%)
Step 9. Press the Enter button to accept the value.
Step 10. Press the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is next to the "LOW
(L/M)"
Step 11. Press the Clear button.
