Setting the Time
Units (Rate of Flow)
Step 1. Press the "Select" button to scroll through all the Time Unit
selections which are:
•
HR = hours
•
MIN = minutes (Default)
•
SEC = seconds
Step 2. When you have scrolled to the selection you want, press the
Enter button. The Time Unit selection is accepted. Entry
accepted flashes.
NOTE:
After initial calibration you can change the Time Units and the set point rate will
automatically be converted and does not require re calibration. If you change the time
unit from minutes to hours, the controller will automatically change the display to
read the hourly rate. For example, 2 lbs/minute will change to 120 lbs/hour.
Step 3. Press the down arrow

button until the cursor is in front of
the Rate Decimal Point sub-menu.

NOTE:
Always use the maximum number of decimal points possible without exceeding the six
digit display. For example if the rate range is 1 - 999, place the decimal point three
(3) places to the left (e.g. 999.999). If the rate range is 1000 - 9999, use two (2) deci-
mal places to the left (1000.00).
Step 1. Press the Select button to select the decimal point placing.
The choices are 0,1,2,3,4.
Step 2. When you have scrolled to the selection you want, press the
Enter button. The Rate Decimal Point selection is accepted.
Step 3. Press the down arrow button until the cursor is in front of the
Batch Decimal Point sub-menu.

The Batch Decimal Point must be the Rate Decimal point.
For example if the rate decimal point is 3, the batch deci-
mal point must be 3 or less.
Step 1. Press the Select button to select the decimal point placing.
The choices are 0,1,2,3,4.
Step 2. When you have scrolled to the selection you want, press the
Enter button.
Step 3. If the decimal point is greater than the Rate Decimal Point,
when you press the Enter button a warning !!NOT
ALLOWED!! appears momentarily.

The display returns to the Batch Decimal Point menu with
the incorrect value displayed.
Step 4. Use the Select button and select another value

Press the Enter button.
