CHAPTER 4 - CONFIGURATION

About Chapter 4

Chapter 4 consists of all the procedures for configuring the
HI 2160RC

PLUS

rate controller. We recommend that maintenance per-

sonnel be familiar with this chapter before configuring the rate control-
ler. Alternative configuration procedures are not recommended.

Output Relay

Configuration

Refill and Alarm
Relays

The Refill and Alarm relays can be wired as Normally Open or Nor-
mally Closed contacts. (See Chapter 3 for instructions)

Solid State Relays

•

The Factory default setting for the solid state relays is normally
open.

•

For configuration purposes, the solid state relays can be configured
as normally open or normally closed. To set the relays as normally
open or normally closed change the dip switch position. (See Fig.
4-1)
