Sigma Data - About
2 Sigma Data • 2 Sigma Data display allows the user to view the results of the 2
Sigma test. The 2 Sigma test value is expressed in percentage and
indicates the repeatability accuracy of the feeder system. The accu-
racy will vary depending on the type of feeder.
Step 1. Click on the 2/Test button. The Test Menu appears.
Step 2. Press on the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is to the left of 2
Sigma Data. (See Fig. 8-35) The 2 Sigma Data Display
appears. (See Fig. 8-36)
Step 3. The 2 Sigma Test value indicates the repeatability accuracy of
the feeder system under test.
Step 4. The number of Samples for the test and the Period is the time
in seconds between samples.
Step 5. The Mean is the sum of all the selected sample values divided
by the number of samples. This is displayed with the number
of digits to the right of the decimal point that the unit has been
set up for. The units (LBS) are also displayed. You can also
select KGS for the test as well. The units are chosen in the
calibration menu for the instrument being tested.
Step 6. Time and Date Stamp. This is the time and date that the 2
Sigma Test was completed. This is based on the time & date
entered in the time and date sub-menu.
