• Press the Enter button to accept the new Stop Bit setting.

left of the Data Length Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Data
Length settings:
EIGHT
SEVEN
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Data Length set-
ting.
• Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the ADDRESS Sub-Menu.
• Use the numeric keys to enter an address from 0 - 99.
• Press the Enter button to accept the new address setting.
• Press the Exit button to return to the operational display.
Saving to the Secure
Memory Module (SMM)
NOTE: All the configuration, calibration, and setup parameters are automatically saved to
the battery backed up internal memory of the HI 2160RC
PLUS
, when the Enter button
is pressed to accept the parameters.
When to Save 1. Upon completion of a Configuration, Calibration or Setup Proce-
dures.
2. Anytime you change any of the Configurations, Calibrations or
Setup Information.
Saving to the
Secure Memory
Module (SMM) Step 1. Press the Stop button two times to stop the feeder.
NOTE: The Save/Recall Menu appears only if the feeder is in the STOP mode. If the feeder is
in the ON or HOLD mode when the Enter button is pressed, an error message
“ERROR STOP FEEDER” appears for two seconds on the display, then the Save/
Recall Data Sub-Menu appears again.
Step 2. Press the Config. button.
Step 3. Enter the Security Code Number.
Step 4. Press the Enter button. The Main Menu appears with the cur-
sor to the left of the SAVE/RECALL SUB-MENU. (See Fig.
6-32)
Step 5. Press the Enter button. The SAVE/RECALL SUB-MENU
appears. (See Fig. 6-33)
