Bi-Directional
Port Setup
Step 1. Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the left of
the Serial Port #1 Sub-Menu. (See Fig. 6-26)
Step 2. Press the Enter button. The Serial Port #1 Sub-Menu appears
with the cursor to the left of the Config. (See Fig. 6-27)
Step 3. Press the Select button to select the bi-directional setting (BI-
DIR)
Step 4. Press the Enter button to accept the BI-DIR port setting.
Step 5. To setup the Bi-Directional Port:
• Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the Baud Rate Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Baud
Rate settings:
600, 1200 (Default), 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Baud Rate set-
ting.
• Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the Parity Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Par-
ity settings:
NONE
EVEN
ODD
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Parity setting.
• Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the Stop Bits Sub-Menu.
