Step 5. If the default settings (See Default Settings above) do not
match the printer’s requirements do the following:
•
Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the Baud Rate Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Baud
Rate settings:
600, 1200 (Default), 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Baud Rate set-
ting.
• Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the Parity Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Par-
ity settings:
NONE
EVEN
ODD
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Parity setting.
• Press the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is to the left of the
Stop Bits Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Stop
Bit settings:
ONE
TWO
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Stop Bit setting.
• Press the down arrow
↓
button until the cursor is to the
left of the Data Length Sub-Menu.
• Press the Select button to select one of the following Data
Length settings:
EIGHT
SEVEN
• Press the Enter button to accept the new Data Length set-
ting.
• Press the Exit button to return to the operational display.
Disabling the
Front Panel Print
Button
• On the Rear Panel there is a Config. connector with 8 dip switches.
• The default for the Config. dip switches is up or OFF.
• Switch the #2 dip switch from OFF (up) to ON (down). (See Fig. 6-
30)
• This also disables the remote functions print input.
