Chapter 14

Turning Off the System

14.1

Shutting Down the Operation Software

To shut down the operation software, proceed as follows.

1.

Select

SW Configuration

>

Shutdown

in the main menu.

2.

Press the

OK

button.

Note



You can press the power button of the teaching pendant to shut it
down.



If the operation software does not shut down properly, press and hold
the power button of the teaching pendant for 5 to 10 seconds.

Caution

Shutting down the system improperly may cause problems for the software.
If the software has a problem after abnormal system termination due to the reason
that the system is forcefully turned off by the power switch or the Power button of
TP, or the power is out, contact local distributor.

14.2

Turning Off Controllers

After shutting down the operation software, press the power switch to turn off the
controller.
