Remove the old filter from the housing.
6.
Verify filter is the correct size and type.
NOTE:
Only
HANS
™
Premium Water
Appliance
replacement filters should
be used. Use of filters other than
HANS
™
Premium Water
can alter
performance of unit.
7.
Verify that the O-ring is properly seated in the groove of the filter housing. Re-apply
silicone lubricant if needed.
8.
Tighten the filter housings by hand until snug, then tighten another 1/8 turn using the
filter wrench.
Drain system
1. Turn off the main water supply to the
HANS
™
Premium Water
Appliance
.
2. Isolate pressure tank.
Close line in and line out on plastic
pressure tank tee (see Figure 73).

3. Go to the set-up screen on the display.
4.
Press
Manual Override
to engage manual mode.
5.
Select
Pump
.
6.
Select
Flush is OFF
to relieve internal pressure.
7.
Drain Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 4
filters using a large bucket under
filter housing valve while open (see
Figure 74).
