Safety Notes
Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent
crushing and cutting injuries.
With water heaters of 5 liters the flow rate at the
mixer should not exceed 5 l/min. In this case the
flow rate must be reduced at the isolation valve.
Installation Instructions
• Prior to installation, inspect the product for transport
damages. After it has been installed, no transport or
surface damage will be honoured.
• The pipes and the fixture must be installed, flushed
and tested as per the applicable standards.
• The plumbing codes applicable in the respective
countries must be observed.
• If necessary shorten platic hose according to the
table and insert it up to the collar into the shorter blue
marked copper pipe.
• The drain valve must only be used as intended. It is not
allowed to attach other objects to the drain valve, for
example a semi-pedestal.

• Hansgrohe recommends not to use as
drinking water the first half liter of water
drawn in the morning or after a pro-
longed period of non-use.
• When the storage tank is being heated,
the spout will drip.
Fault Cause Remedy
Insufficient water - Spray former calcified, dirty - Clean spray former, exchanging if
necessary
Mixer stiff - Cartridge defective, calcified - Exchange cartridge
Mixer dripping constantly with water
heater switched off - Cartridge defective - Exchange cartridge
Do not use silicone containing acetic acid!
