Safety Notes
Intended Use
The “HG water supply kit” must be used for the purpose of presentation only.
It is not allowed to make arbitrary changes to this product! Use the “HG water
supply kit” only with Hansgrohe products! Application of products by other
manufacturers will void the warranty!
Non-intended use
The "HG water supply kit" may not be used for bathing, hygienic and body
cleaning purposes!
A different or excessive use is considered non-intended. The user/operator
bears the sole risk. The intended use includes the adherence to the operating
instructions and the observance of the inspection and maintenance guidelines.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and up and by persons
who are physically or mentally handicapped, have restricted sensory capabili-
ties or lack of know-how and experience, provided they use it under supervision
or have been given instructions on the safe use of the appliance and under-
stand the hazards involved. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
Do not allow children to clean the appliance and do maintenance operations
unless under supervision.
The manufacturer/seller of this product does not assume any responsibility for
injuries or damage that may be caused by improper installation or non-intended
use.
Electrical installation
Electrician
Installation and tests are to be performed by an approved electrician, taking
DIN VDE 0100-718 into account. It's a Legal Requirement for the Installation
and wiring to conform to current IEE Electrical and Building regulations.
A safety check must be performed according to DGUV V3.
Electrical connection
Voltage supply: 230 V/N/PE/50-60 HZ
The connection of the “HG water supply kit” must be carried out via an easily
accessible socket or an all-pole mains switch.
Residual current protection system
The circuit must be protected via a ground fault protector (RCD / FI) with a
measured differential current of ≤ 30 mA.
The proper function of this protective device must be checked at regular
intervals.
Installation Instructions
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (safety shoes, gloves, etc.)
• Any work may only be carried out in a de-energized state. Here, the voltage
supply must be safely separated via the main switch or mains plugs.
• All components must remain accessible.
• Finish assembling and positioning before you connect the mains plug to the
power socket.
• Do not try to exchange a damaged connection cable but have the manufactur-
er replace it.
• The required minimum floor load is 100 kg/m². The floor must be levelled
properly, i.e. it must be horizontal and even.
• It is not allowed to connect displays elements firmly with building parts!
• It is not allowed to restrict or block escape routes!
• Protect from freezing!
• After installing the water supply kit, a leak test must be performed. Confirm the
proper execution of the test on the respective page of the installation instruc-
tions and send it to Hansgrohe SE.

• The preservation of the water quality is in the operator’s responsibility! The
included treatment agent must be applied according to the manufacturer's
instructions. After using up the treatment agent, the operator must procure

• The water level must be checked daily!
• The water must be changed regularly (every week)!
• To guarantee a perfect function of the shower of the kitchen mixer, the reservoir
must be cleaned regularly (every week).
• If the water throughput rate is low, the filter must be cleaned.
