MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE

Note: 

If tutorial mode is disabled follow the measurement procedure below. If the 

tutorial mode is enabled, press 

Measure

 and follow the messages on the screen.

• Fill the graduated glass vial with 25 mL of sample.

Note: 

For improved accuracy the use of class A 

laboratory pipette is recommended.

• Add 2 drops of 

HI95769A-0

 Anionic Surfactants 

Reagent A and 2 drops of 

HI95769B-0

 Anionic 

Surfactants Reagent B.

• Replace the cap and invert to mix, the solution will 

turn blue.

• Add 10 mL of Chloroform.

Note: 

Chloroform is more dense than water and 

will sink to the bottom of the graduated glass vial.
