•
The high-pressure washer is not intended to be used by persons (children or
adults) with any form of functional disorders, or by persons who do not have
sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it, unless they have received
instructions concerning the use of the appliance by someone who is
responsible for their safety. Keep children under supervision to make sure they
do not play with the high-pressure washer.
•
Never allow children, or anyone who is unfamiliar with the high-pressure
washer and these instructions, to use it.
•
Switch off the high-pressure washer immediately in the event of problems or
malfunctioning. In the event of contact with chemicals, switch off the high-
pressure washer immediately and rinse with lots of water.
•
Do not use the high-pressure washer if the power cord or any other important parts,
e.g. safety devices, high-pressure hoses and the trigger handle, are damaged.
•
Check that none of the parts are damaged before use.
•
Check the power cord. A damaged power cord must be replaced by an
authorised service centre, or qualified person, to ensure safe use.
•
Only use spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Do not use the high-pressure washer at temperatures below 0˚C.
•
Switch off the high-pressure washer and unplug the power cord before cleaning
and/or maintenance.
•
Only use chemicals recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other chemicals
can put safety at risk. Never spray flammable liquids – risk of explosion.
•
High-pressure jets can be dangerous if they are not used properly. Do not point
the jet at persons or animals, at live electrical equipment, or at the high-
pressure washer unit. Do not point the jet at yourself or any other person, e.g.
to clean clothes or shoes.
•
Do not use the high-pressure washer near other persons who are not wearing
safety clothing.
•
Never use the high-pressure washer in explosive environments, for example, in
the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
•
Never modify the spray nozzle or nozzles in any way, or cover them over.
