SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the safety instructions carefully before use!
• Contact your dealer if you have any questions.

Follow the applicable safety regulations and standards. Failure to follow all the instructions and safety
instructions can lead to personal injury and/or material damage.
• Persons who are not familiar with these instructions must not use the product.
• The product must not be used to lift, support or transport persons.
• Do not use the product together with other equipment without adequate safety devices.
• Never modify the product without the approval of the manufacturer.
Before installation
•
Check the product for transport damage. Contact your dealer if any parts are missing or damaged. Do not
install or use the product if it is damaged.

Check that the suspension point and/or the equipment on which the product is to be placed has a suf
fi
cient
load capacity.
Before

rst use
• Read all the instructions, safety instructions and all the warning labels on the product prior to use.
• Check that the product is correctly lubricated.
• Check that the brake is working.
• Check that the chain runs correctly over the gears and that it is not twisted, bent or damaged.
Before each shift
• Check the hooks for nicks, cracks and signs of deformation.
• Check that the hook catch is working properly.
• Check that the chain is not twisted or bent.
• Check that the brake is working.
• Replace any warning stickers that have become illegible or lost.
Before use
• Check that there are no persons in the vicinity of the load to be lifted.
• Check that the load is not obstructed when lifting or during transport.
• Check that the chain is not twisted or bent. Straighten it out if necessary.
Other safety instructions
• Follow the applicable safety regulations and standards.
• Warn onlookers when the load is to be moved.
• Never exceed the permitted maximum load for the product.
• Never attempt to lift the load at an angle.
• Do not lift a load if the chain is twisted or bent.
• Do not use the product if the chain does not run correctly over the gears.
• Do not wind the chain round the load, or use it as a loop.
• Never lift a load that is not correctly suspended on the hook.
• Never lift a load hanging from the tip of the hook.
• Do not use the product if the hook catch is missing or damaged.
• Never lift people and never lift loads over people.
