IGNITION SWITCH (NON-LE MODELS)
The ignition switch is a three-position, key-operated switch. The key can be
removed from the switch when it is in the OFF position.
OFF
The engine is off. Electrical circuits are off, except
Acc, 12V.
ON
Electrical circuits are on. Electrical equipment can be
used.
START
Turn the key to the START position to engage the
electric starter. The key returns to the ON position
when released.
LIGHT SWITCH
The ignition switch key must be in the
ON/RUN position to operate the
headlights. Press the TOP of the rocker
switch toward the dash to turn the
headlights on. Press the BOTTOM of
the rocker switch to turn off the
headlights.
STOP ENGINE SWITCH (LE MODELS ONLY)
The stop engine switch shuts down the
engine. The switch must be in the ON/
TOP position to operate the vehicle.
Before driving the vehicle, test the
Engine Stop Switch to assure that it
operates properly. With the engine
running, press the BOTTOM of the
switch to shut off the engine.
