REPLACEMENT OF PARTS

Befor
e commencing any service operation, ISOLATE the mains
electrical supply and TURN OFF the gas supply at the main
service cock.
Replacement of most parts first requires the removal of the sealed
chamber front panels; refer to section 6.2.
There may be some slight water spillage; so electrical components
should be protected.
It is the law that any service work must be carried out by a
registered person.
ELECTRODES

IGNITION AND DETECTION

e supply voltage is isolated.

Remove the plug and ear
th lead from the ignition electrode.

Remove the electrical supply leads.

Unscr
ew the two screws holding the ignitor unit, remove ignitor
unit.

Fit the new ignitor unit.
g)
Re-assemble in r
everse order; ensure that the ignitor unit is
orientated as shown in Figure 33, and that the brown electric
supply lead is fitted to position 1 on the ignitor unit.

ode, and new gasket.

Check that electr
ode is aligned as detailed as appropriate in
Figure 26.

Re-assemble in r
everse order. Ensure that all joints and seals
are correctly re-fitted.
