HScanner™ Quick Guide
H-Scanner is a wired handheld reader with a capability to support barcode and
RFID.
Quick start:
1.
Connect the H-Scanner to the PC via USB connector [1]
2.
After the H-Scanner is connected to a PC, a single beep sound is to
confirm the connection. (only at the first time).
3.
The big BLUE button [2] triggers the scanning:
Scan of a
Barcode
label– Red laser beam is to appear to assist capturing
the barcode. A single beep sound and single green led blink is to indicate
reading
Scan of an
RFID
tag – A double beep sound and a double green led blink
is to indicate reading a tag
Care of use:
Improve speed of scan by placing the front panel [3] in distance of:
o
For Barcode – up to 20cm
o
For RFID – up to 3cm
Verify that every scanning event is registered on screen (UI)
Clean the device with Sterile Saline Wipers.

Avoid exposure to fluids.
X
Do not scan (RFID or Barcode) if there is Antenna Error message on the UI.
X
Lift the device by holding it at the handle (Do not pull by the cable).
