5.4.1 Charging batteries
Before starting the vehicle up
for the first time, the batteries
to be used must be properly
charged by implementing the
initial battery charge routine,
refer to Section 2.2. Hako as-
sumes no liability for damage
to the battery caused by a fault
when the battery is charged for
the first time.
There must be sufficient venti-
lation in the charging area - risk
of explosion!
The seat console (Fig. 23/5)
must be open during the batte-
ry charging process to prevent
the development of explosive
oxyhydrogen!
Only use the original charger!
Pay attention that the insulati-
on is not initially damaged and
not damaged during the char-
ging process. The cable must
not rub against anything. Do
not use the charger if the insu-
lation is damaged.
We recommended charging the battery
when at least one dot of the battery in-
dicator has gone out after operating the
vehicle. The indicator (Fig. 23/1) also
indicates the charge status of the batte-
ries during the charging process.
• Connect the battery plug (Fig. 23/4)
to the battery charger supplied.
• Pay attention to the information in
the operating manual supplied with
the charger and the manual from
battery manufacturer.
Do not inhale battery gases.
