Policy Settings
The following table lists the Policy settings for the encoder:

Minimum password
length

(from 6-40 characters).

Passwords can be up to 80
characters.
Password quality
Basic Select the required password quality; this
works in conjunction with

• Basic: Makes the minimum password
length the only requirement for creating
a new password.
• Strong: Adds stricter requirements for
password creation (checks for minimum
length, minimum number of required
upper case characters, digits, and
symbols, etc.). Also prevents the use of
dictionary words in passwords, and
enforces a minimum number of 4
characters that must be different from
the previous password.
