Defining Metadata Sources
1.
Click
M
ETADATA
from the sidebar menu and click
Add
.
2.
On the Create New Metadata Source page, type in the source Name and select the Input Method:
•
To capture metadata from HD-SDI (Video Source) input, select Video Source (as shown above).
•
To capture metadata from the serial port, select Serial.
•
To capture metadata from network input, select Network (UDP), example shown following page.
The parameters vary depending on the Input Method selected.

For Network (UDP) or Serial sources, select the Data Format (either KLV or CoT) and type in the Network or
Serial Settings.
4.
For CoT sources, you can configure CoT Relaying to retransmit CoT sources to other IP destinations for
analysis and archiving.
