INFORMATION
When a segmented clamping bushing is used, all
measuring surfaces of the measuring device must be
completely covered by the steel segments of the seg-
mented clamping bushing.
INFORMATION
The marking on the TEST module must always be po-
sitioned at the center of the steel segments of the
clamping element.
3. Place the measuring device over the clamping element
on the clamping device so that the measuring device
does not touch the face of the clamping device. All
measuring surfaces of the measuring device must be
completely covered by the clamping elements.
4. Clamp the measuring device.
9.3.3 Hollow tapered shanks
The following steps are required to check the draw-in force:
1. Remove the tool from the HSK holder.
2. Inspect the HSK holder and clean if necessary.
3. Place the measuring device in the HSK holder.
4. Draw in the measuring device.
9.3.4 Steep taper
The following steps are required to check the draw-in force:
1. Remove the tool from the SK holder.
2. Inspect the SK holder and clean if necessary.
3. Place the measuring device in the SK holder.
4. Draw in the measuring device.
9.3.5 Zero point clamping systems
The following steps are required to check the draw-in force:
1. Inspect the zero point clamping system and clean if nec-
essary.
2. Place the measuring device in the zero point clamping
system.
3. Clamp the measuring device.
