Commissioning 

 

Commissioning must be carried out by person(s) suitably qualified and authorised to carry out mechanical and 
electrical maintenance. 

 

Check that the machine is isolated from the electrical power supply. If not, isolate. 

 

 

Mechanical checks 

 

 

Ensure the machine has been securely bolted down. 

 

Clean off any accumulated surface dust and dirt. 

 

Check inside the machine and surrounding area for tools, fasteners, rubbish or other foreign objects and 
remove them accordingly. Most problems which arise during the first hours of operation are caused by such 
matter. 

 

Check that the water is connected and turned on. 

 

Check that the drain is connected. 

 

Electrical checks
