7.2.2 Multimedia panels
FWB, FWQ distribution boards are prepared for multimedia extensions. Multimedia panels with perforated
steel mounting plates or new plastic mounting plates can be selected.
When ordering individual parts or when completing an empty cabinet, multimedia panels are also available
as market reference. The UNxxTN panels are equipped with perforated steel mounting plate and the new
UMx1UK panels with plastic mounting plates.

Following panels with plastic mounting plates are available, particularly for multimedia applications.
These panels with the 14 mm, narrower univers FW mounting rails are compatible with the univers Z system;
they comprise the same fixation towers and have a width of 250 mm.
The plastic mounting plates can also be installed behind the mounting rails. These multimedia panels can be
clipped into the FWB, FWQ cabinets. The following UMx1UK references are available:

The 9.5 mm long screws are used for installing multimedia devices on the panels.
The 25 mm long screws are used for fixing the plastic mounting plates behind the mounting rails and for fixing
devices to the plastic mounting plates.
