8.1.3. 

Installation of the expansion sleeve: The expansion 

sleeves must be inserted into the drill hole required for 

your individual gradient (see point 5).

Make sure that the gradient matches your storey 

height. Your required gradient can be found in the 

storey height table in section 9 or in the Häfele 

catalogue.

8.1.4. 

Press the expansion sleeves into the drill hole required for your gradient and tap them in with a hammer. The sockets 

must be flush with the wood surface. 

8.1.5. 

The stair stringer elements are already pre-soaped. 

To facilitate installation, soap the positive shape of the 

dovetail joint (male part) on both sides as well as the 

front side again with the soap.
