Maintenance & Care

Set  the  first  key  (see  picture  below)  on
the axle and hold it tight. Screw out the
chuck  with  the  second  key,  which  has
the forefront

.

The  assembly  of  the  clamping  device
takes place in reverse order. Make sure
that  the  clamping  device  is  opened
when assembling it.

Cleaning the chuck

Soak  the  chuck  in  white  spirit  or  in  a
special  fluid  for  cleaning  tools.  Clean
the slots of the chuck and the drilling
with a brush or a scrubber.
Rinse off the chuck well and let it dry.
Place a small drop of oil on your thumb
and pointer.   Rub  both  fingers  until  you
find very little of oil on your fingers.
Now  take  the  chuck and  put  it  between
these two fingers and turn it around.
There  should  only  be  a  very  slight  film
of  oil  on  the  chuck.  It  counts:  Less  is
more than too much.
