The emergency drain may only be used in the event of a power supply failure and not in the event of a
technical fault on the unit!
NOTE!
A minimum weight of approx. 20% of the rated load is necessary for lowering. This value depends on
application and ambient conditions!
7.1
Disengaging clutch (as option)
The drum is disengaged through a switch lever.
The protection cover over the switch element
must not be removed.

Disengaging
Pull out the locking button (1)
Pull the disengaging lever (2) against spring
tension.
Let the locking button (1) lock in the hole (B1)
and release the locking lever (2).
The drum is disengaged from the driving
mechanism.

Engaging
Pull out the locking button (1) again and hold
the disengaging lever (2) against spring
tension.
Move the drum by hand and therewith let the
coupling engage again automatically.
Let the locking button lock in the hole (B2).
The drum is connected to its drive.
