connected to a RS-485 bus (single twisted pair).
Optionally it can be connected to a fieldbus module
(gateway).

The RS 485 menu allows selection between RS485
simple or Profibus DP communication protocols,
depending on the application.

simple or the PROFIBUS-DP communication protocol.
