2.4 PC Software Installation

Note:

Before installing, be sure to remove any previous versions of the software from your
computer using the standard

Add or Remove Programs

option available from the

Windows

Control Panel

. This will remove the software but leave all measurement files

intact.

The OrbiPack V5.00 software must be installed on your PC hard drive. To install, insert
the OrbiPack software CD into your disk drive (designated here as "D").

• The installation should start automatically. If not, select

Run

from the

Start

menu,

and type:

D:\ Setup.

• Click

Next

to start the installation and then follow the on-screen instructions on the

InstallShield Wizard.

• On the

Customer Information

screen (third screen) make sure the

Anyone who

uses this computer (all users)

option is selected.
