3624 ProBrix Plus - Operating Information
Operator Manual
ORBISPHERE
Note:
The ProBrix Plus measurements are those recorded at the time the samples should
have passed through the ProBrix Plus. The ProBrix Plus determines this time by taking
the time at which the operator pressed the
GO
button in Step 1 plus the TpickUp value
(estimated time to go from the lab to the sample pick-up point - entered when
Setting
the LINE Configuration
) minus the Tfiller value (estimated time for the sample to travel
from the instrument to where the samples were picked up - entered during the
Products
List
update).
2.6.4.3 Alarms On/Off
This button allows you to turn the alarm outputs of the ProBrix Plus instrument on
or off. If the button is labeled Alarms On, then the instrument alarm is triggered
when a measurement is out of specifications.
If the button is labeled Alarms Off, then the alarms are not triggered for a pre-
defined period of time (see
2.6.4.4 Graph
If a single LINE is in use, this button will switch to a full screen graphical display for
that LINE. Select the
Numeric
button on the graph display to switch back to the
dual numeric/graph display. Note that if both LINES are in use, then this is a
straightforward switch between the graphical and numeric output display for the
selected LINE.
2.6.4.5 Clear
This button allows you to clear the results obtained from the current run for the
product.
2.6.4.6 Comments
This button allows you to enter free-format text. Any comments created are
automatically date and time stamped, and stored with the measurement data when
the file is saved. Comments can be viewed using the PBViewer Program (see
“PBViewer Program for Statistical Analysis” on page 63
Alternatively, if you have checked the
Direct
Offset
option in the Configuration menu (see
“Setting a LINE Configuration” on page 44
) for
the selected LINE, then a manual input is
required.
The offset values entered must be within the
maximum offsets allowed for the product.
Provided these values are within these limits, the
offsets are applied.
