Residual Risks
The equipment from Haag-Streit has been designed and produced according to state of the art
standards and best practices at the time of manufacture. However, some residual risks remain and
are indicated on the equipment and in the form of safety messages (WARNING, CAUTION, NO-
TICE) in this document.
Explanation of Warnings
DANGER
Will lead to serious injury or death.
Follow the instructions to avoid a hazard.
WARNING
May lead to serious injury or death.
Follow the instructions to avoid a hazard.
CAUTION
May lead to light or moderately serious injuries.
Follow the instructions to avoid a hazard.
NOTICE
May lead to material damage and / or operating error.
Follow the instructions to avoid a hazard.
2.1 General Warnings
WARNING
Risk of life threatening electrical shock or uncontrolled system behavior!
The use of accessories, transformers and cables other than those specified (with the exceptions of
the transformers and cables supplied by the manufacturer as spare parts for internal components)
may increase electromagnetic emissions or reduce the system´s immunity to interference.
a) Only use approved accessories and spare parts.
b) Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of the carrier unit.
