mLOM Ethernet adapters
In addition to mLOM Ethernet adapters, the server also supports PCIe Ethernet adapters (see "
").
The server supports one HDM shared network port for out-of-band HDM management, which is
available if an NCSI-capable mLOM or PCIe Ethernet adapter is installed.
By default, port 1 on the mLOM Ethernet adapter (if any) is used as the HDM shared network port. If
no mLOM Ethernet adapter is installed, port 1 on the PCIe Ethernet adapter is used. You can change
the HDM shared network port as needed from the HDM Web interface.

Riser cards
To expand the server with PCIe modules, you can install riser cards on PCIe riser connectors 1 and
2. Riser connector 1 is for processor 1, and riser connector 2 is for processor 2. When a riser card is
installed on riser connector 1 or riser connector 2, the PCIe slot provided by the riser card is
numbered 1 or 2, respectively.
Each PCIe slot in a riser card can supply a maximum of 75 W power to the PCIe module. You must
connect a separate power cord to the PCIe module only if it requires more than 75 W power.
