Parameters
seconds
: Specifies on the DIS of a broadcast network the interval in seconds for sending CSNP
packets, ranging from 1 to 600.
level-1
: Applies the interval to Level-1.
level-2
: Applies the interval to Level-2.
Description
Use the
isis timer csnp
command to specify on the DIS of a broadcast network the interval for
sending CSNP packets.
Use the
undo isis timer csnp
command to restore the default.
The default CSNP interval is 10 seconds.

If no level is specified, the CSNP interval applies to both Level-1 and Level-2.
z
This command only applies to the DIS of a broadcast network, which sends CSNP packets
periodically for LSDB synchronization.
z
This command is not supported in loopback interface view.
