Connect the RJ-45 connector of the cable to the console port of the switch.
Connecting a micro USB console cable
A micro USB console cable has a micro USB connector at one end to connect to the micro USB
console port of the switch, and a standard USB connector at the other end to connect to the USB port
on the configuration terminal.

To connect the switch to a configuration terminal, for example a PC, by using a micro USB console
cable:
1.
Connect the standard USB connector to the USB port of the PC.

Connect the micro USB connector to the micro USB console port of the switch.

install the USB console driver on the configuration terminal.
