Install the switch
This guide provides basic installation steps. See the
S5120-EI
Installation Manual
for comprehensive procedures for installing the
switch.
Inspect the switch
Follow these steps before installing an S5120-EI switch:
z
Make sure that you have read “ Prepare for installation ” carefully
and that the installation site meets all the requirements.
z
Using the packing list that was supplied with your switch, inspect
the switch to be sure that you have all the items listed in the
packing list, and verify that the switch was not damaged during
shipment. If anything is damaged or missing, contact your H3C
customer representative.
