About the R6900-FAN fan module

The model name of a hardware option in this document might differ slightly from its model name
label. A model name label might add a prefix or suffix to the hardware-coded model name. For
example, the R6900-FAN fan module model represents fan module labels including
UN-R6900-FAN-S, which has a different prefix and suffix.
The R6900-FAN fan module contains two fans. Each fan has a rotor composed of seven vanes at
the air inlet and a rotor composed of five vanes at the air outlet. When a fan operates normally, the
two rotors are reversed in direction to form counter-rotation for sufficient wind pressure. The
R6900-FAN fan module is hot swappable, and provides fast heat dissipation and high speed.
