Troubleshooting PPPoE
Authentication failure in PPPoE dialup
Symptom
In a standard PPPoE network, the MSR router acts as a PPPoE server, and the CAMS server acts as
an authentication server.
Client authentication failed.
The client carries an incorrect username (not assigned by the system):

Solution
To resolve the issue:
1.
Troubleshoot the MSR router. Execute the
debugging ppp all
command and the
debugging radius packet
command to view the debugging information:
