Setting configuration terminal parameters
To configure and manage the device through the console port, you must run a terminal emulator
program, TeraTermPro or PuTTY, on your PC. You can use the emulator program to connect a
network device, a Telnet site, or an SSH site. For more information about the terminal emulator
programs, see the user guides for these programs.
The following are the required terminal settings:

Baud rate
—9600.

Data bits
—8.
•
Stop bits
—1.
•
Parity
—none.
•
Flow control
—none.
Connecting the power cord
Connecting the AC power cord
The ICG2000D, ICG2000D-EI, and ICG 2000H use an AC power cord.
NOTE:
The power cord in the following figure is for illustration only.
To connect the AC power cord:
1.
Make sure the device is reliably grounded.
2.
Connect one end of the power cord to the AC power receptacle on the device. Use a
releasable cable tie to secure the power cord in place.
3.
Connect the other end of the power cord to an AC power source.

Connecting the DC power cord
Only the ICG2000H-DC uses the DC power cord.
No DC power cord but only a terminal block is provided with the ICG2000H-DC. You must
purchase a DC power cord yourself.
To connect the DC power cord:
1.
Make sure the device is reliably grounded.
2.
Strip off 5 mm (0.20 in) of insulation from one end of the DC wires.
