SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

The failure or misuse of the steel sheet traction bench can cause death, or severe injury, as well
as potential damage to objects in the vicinity.

As the operating pressure of the traction bench can reach up to 200 Bars, it shall not be used in
any case if any particular defect is observed, e.g. oil leak, damaged hydraulic flexible hose, or
damaged mechanical parts, …

This traction bench shall be used only in order to perform pulling tests on spot welding samples.
The welding spots must have been made with spot welding machines for car body repair.

The traction test must never exceed the maximum authorised pressure as specified on the
manometer, i.e. 5000 Kg.

During the traction test, no parts of human body or objects should lie close to the traction bench.

The pump is made of a
body filled with oil, and
equipped with a valve to
close or open the
hydraulic circuit.
