Ver cal Service Posi on
For
some
procedures
it
is
necessary
to
put
the
snow
blower
into
the
ver cal
service
posi on
as
instructed
below.
This
allows
for
easy
access
to
the
top
and
the
bo om
of
the
snow
blower.
1.
Remove
or
place
the
dri
cu ers
into
the
stored
posi on.
2.
Push
up
on
the
handle
bars
and
rock
the
snow
blower
forward
onto
the
front
face
of
the
collector
housing
as
shown
below.
Service Adjustments
Cau on! Unit is heavy, this may require the
assistance of a second person.
Remove
all
fuel
from
fuel
tank
if
possible
by:
‐
Turn
fuel
valve
o
ff
‐
Remove
fuel
hose
from
fuel
valve
‐
Install
short
piece
of
fuel
hose
to
valve
‐
Turn
fuel
valve
on
and
drain
into
gasoline
safe
container
Make
certain
fuel
valve
is
o
ff
.
Tighten
fuel
and
oil
caps
Remove
key
Close
fuel
valve
DANGER: GASOLINE IS HIGHLY FLAMMABLE AND
EXPLOSIVE.
Do
not
add
fuel
while
the
engine
is
running
or
is
hot.
Keep
open
fl
ames,
sparks,
and
heat
away
from
the
fuel
and
store
fuel
in
containers
speci
fi
cally
designed
for
that
purpose.
ADD FUEL
OUTDOORS ONLY. IF THE FUEL IS SPILLED, DO NOT
START THE ENGINE.
Manually
push
the
snow
blower
away
from
the
spill
and
wipe
up
immediately.
