Abbreviated Procedures
The following abbreviated check lists have been developed for the
convenience of the experienced operator. The lists are a summarization of
the expanded procedures outlined in this manual. These steps should only
be used by the operator who has become familiar with the
D
Gun through
practical experience coupled with a thorough reading and understanding of
this manual. Attempting to use these instructions without sufficient
knowledge of the gun could result in injury to the operator and/or damage
to the gun.
Abbreviated Start-up Procedures
1.
Insure that the valving rod protrudes 1/32 in. (1 mm) beyond the tip of
the mixing chamber.
2.
Set the valving rod adjustment screw to correct position. Tighten
friction lock.
3.
Turn on air to air cap.
4.
Check the adjustment of the felt wiper. Saturate the felt wiper with
gun cleaner.
5.
With the manual valves closed, actuate the trigger to insure that the
valving rod moves freely.
6.
Open the Iso manual valve 1/2 turn and close it.
7.
Open the Resin manual valve six half turns.
8.
Open the Iso manual valve six half turns.
9.
Test dispense immediately.
Abbreviated Shut-down Procedures
1.
Close both manual valves.
2.
Disconnect air to the gun.
