Placing the slings
We recommend that the Basic Shell sling
is put on in a lying position. Cross one leg
towards the side you wish to roll the user.
Pass the arm on the same side forward
over the chest and ask the user to turn
his/her head in the same direction.
The top of the head must be within the
upper edge of the sling, and the sling’s
lower opening must be flush with the
tailbone.
To ensure the sling is centred, the
sling’s centre mark should follow the
user’s backbone.
Now roll the user back on the sling.
Push the leg straps under the legs
at the back of the knee and cross
the straps before attaching them to
the hanger.
Place the 6 lifting straps on the
lifting hanger’s hooks.
