3.8 Relay outputs and signalling
Short-term releases (NO contact)
• Short-term release of cam
The "cam monitoring" is an output potential-free signal, via the "short-term release" relay contact
(Pins 3 and 4/grey-pink and red-blue).
• Short-term release of lever handle
The operation of the lever handle is output via the lever handle monitoring relay contact (Pin 1 + 2/
white-green + brown-green).
Latchbolt/door contact monitoring „locked“
When the latchbolt is in the „locked position“, the relay contact (Pin 7 + 8, red + blue) is closed. In
addition, a positive potential must be applied at the door contact input (Pin 10, grey) by connecting a
door contact or a jumper to the power supply (see fig. 6). Otherwise, the lock responds as described
in point 3.5 and retracts the latchbolt.
Latchbolt monitoring unlocked
The "unlocked" relay contact (Pins 5 + 6/ black) is closed as soon as the latchbolt is fully
retracted.
Function output
The function output serves the purpose of displaying the following status reports:
• The relay contact opens once the trigger lever has been actuated 4x (see 3.5).
• The relay contact remains open following a voltage drop until authorised electrical access has
been given (control signal) (see 3.6).
Signalling
In addition to the function indications at the relay outputs, the motor-driven lock provides status
reports via a red LED in the lower area of the latchbolt hole.
These status reports provide information on the following incorrect operations:
• Actuation of profile cylinder when the motor is running
• Overload display, e.g. latchbolt difficult to move
The LED display can be switched off by fully retracting the latchbolt three times from the locking
position.
To delete the status report of a jammed latchbolt during daytime release, this must also be
accompanied by a successful actuation of the lock by the motor!
The function output is disabled when emergency power backup B 5490 0301 is used!
