Product Description and Specifications 

The 

C924X Vehicle Detectors consist of single printed circuit modules that plug into a standard 

NEMA/170/2070 card rack. 
The vehicle detectors are 

compatible with the 701 and 702 Non-invasive Microloops and 

conventional wire-wound loop designs. 

Warning!  Improper use of vehicle detectors may cause improper operation of the traffic control 

system, which may result in personal injury.  To avoid improper use of C924X units, installation 

must be done only by qualified professionals who are trained to operate and maintain traffic 

control systems, and who are familiar with this equipment.  Improper operation of the traffic 

control system may result in unsafe driver action.

Canoga™ ITSLink/C900 Configuration Software 

The C900 Configuration Software allows easy access to the configurable settings and features of the 

Canoga C922, C924, C922E and C924E vehicle detectors.  The software allows you to quickly set up and 

customize the vehicle detectors for your application.  The software also allows you to monitor and 

analyze system operation. 
The C900 configuration software communicates with vehicle detectors through a TIA-232 or TIA-485 

serial communication link.  This communication link allows remote access, with password-protected 

security to the vehicle detector, for reading or changing its configuration, for fault identification and 

verification, and for real-time system monitoring and data collection of up to four channels (up to two 

channel pairs) of detection.
