6.8.1
Lift load
>
Place the lifting magnet on the load to be raised.
>
Press the control button and keep it pressed.
LED 2 lights up on the MMI.

The lifting magnet is magnetised and remains switched on until the
control button is held down.

The load is attracted.
6.8.2
Separating the material
>
If necessary, move the lifting magnet into the required position for
separation while the control button is pressed.
>
Release the control button briefly.
LED 2 goes out on the MMI.

The lifting magnet is switched off.
y
The load / parts of the load drop.
>
Once the necessary volume of material has dropped off the lifting magnet,
press the control button again and keep it pressed down.
>
Briefly press and release it again as many times as necessary until the
required material separation result is achieved.
6.8.3
Releasing load
>
Move the lifting magnet into the required position to release the load with
the control button pressed down.
>
Release the control button again and wait until all material drops from the
lifting magnet.
Note
Normally, in Sorting mode, the magnet is only demagnetised
slowly when the control button is released. In various MMI
variants (e.g. “INT MSF”), there is the chance to toggle between
slow and quick demagnetisation.
As a result, the sorting procedure can be terminated quickly and
the load can be positioned precisely.
