CORE CARD 

Removing a Core Card 

CAUTION:

 switch power off at service panel and lock the switch 

disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on 

accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be 

locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a 

tag, to the service panel. 

1.  Use your thumbs to move away the two metal arms that 

are retaining the card. While doing so, lift the card upwards 

with your index fingers. 

 

2.  Pull the card out of its connector.
