Variable speed Stages
The controller can use up to 5 variable-speed fan stages; each of
these stages can activate up to 3 variable outputs. The first
variable fan stage starts when the room temperature reaches the
temperature set point; the following variable fan stages start when
the room temperature reaches their respective start temperature.
First variable fan stage
The first fan stage can only activate variable fan outputs and
cannot activate any on/off relay. However, variable ouptuts can be
configured to operate at a constant speed.
NOTE: The first fan stage performed by the controller is the
stage that is used for minimum.
Principle of operation
Each variable fan stage can activate up to 3 variable fan outputs.
The intensity of these fans can either stay the same all stage long
or it can gradually increase as the room temperature rises. The
graph below shows how a variable output increases in speed:
If the following stage does not use variable output 1, the output
simply stops when this new stage starts; if it uses it, the output
returns to minimum speed at the startup of the new stage.
