Fan Stages
The controller has 15 fan stages which operate in a sequence to
increase the level of ventilation as the room temperature rises.
Stages 1-5 can also activate up to 3 variable fans (note that stage
1 can only activate variable fans). A fan stage is activated when
the room temperature reaches its start temperature and is disabled
when the temperature gets 0.5°F (0.3°C) lower than this
temperature.
Start temperatures are defined with respect to the set point and
with respect to each other. This means that when one of these
values is adjusted, all the consecutive values are adjusted by the
same amount. For example, if the set point is increased by 1°F, the
start temperature of all fan stages will be increased by the same
amount.
NOTE
: The start temperature of the minimum fan stage takes
the value of the temperature set point which causes a change in
the start temperature of all stages.
Maximum fan stage:
The controller automatically defines the number of fan stages
according to the number of heating and misting stages in use: the
number of fan stages corresponds to the total number of outputs
(15) minus the number of activated mist and heating outputs. You
can also specify the maximum number of fan stages to be
performed and change this number as your ventilation needs are
changing.
