Shut Down

Normal Shut Down
1. Before shutting down the unit, be sure the augers are empty.
2. Disconnect and lock out the power source before leaving the work area.
Emergency Shut Down
1. Know how to shut down the auger in case of an emergency.
2. Do not restart the auger while it is under load.
DANGER
NEVER start the equipment under load. Doing so may cause damage. This type
of damage is considered a misuse of the equipment. Any misuse of the
equipment may void the warranty.
3. Close the bin well control gates.
4. Reconnect and unlock the power source.
5. Clear the auger gradually, until there is no grain and there are no obstructions.
Storage Preparation
1. Read the instructional decal located on the upper bin flange to learn how to control the direct gear
drive power sweep well gates.
2. Close the center well and the intermediate well gates.
3. Position the sweep auger alongside of the intermediate wells.
4. Make sure the clutch is disengaged and locked out with pin.
5. Be sure the unload tube is empty.
6. Shut down the auger.
7. Make sure all fasteners are tight.
DANGER
DO NOT enter the grain bin unless all power driven equipment has been shut down.
