Chapter 6: Stiffeners

Special Base Boot Stiffener Installation

1. Align the base boots with the holes provided in the bottom of the sidewall sheet.

NOTE:

These base boots are installed additionally to the bottom of the bin and should not replace
the standard base boots with stiffeners.

2. Install the base boot (B) along with the shims (E and F) to the bottom sidewall (A) with standard bin

bolts (C) and flange nuts (D).

NOTE:

Install the bin bolts with bolt heads on the inside of the sidewall and the nuts on the outside.
