1. Sonderfunktionen
1.1 Analogwertspeicherung
Eingestellte Analogwerte werden automatisch nach ca. 8 Sekunden
oder durch Schalten in den Standby-Betrieb gespeichert.
1.2 Optimalwerte einstellen,
DurchTastendruck "OK" –> "OK" werden die Optimalwerte für Hellig-
keit, Kontrast, Farbstärke, Tint und Lautstärke eingestellt. Die Balance
steht in Mittenstellung, Höhen und Bässe sind linear.

Wurde die Minimal-Lautstärke abgespeichert, erscheint nach Netz-
oder Standby "Ein" der OSD-Lautstärkebalken für ca. 8 Sekunden als
optischer Hinweis.
1.3 ATS Start
Taste "P/C"/AUX" gedrückt halten bis die Einblendung "ATS" (Auto
Tuning System) erscheint, mit "OK" bestätigen. Das ATS-System
speichert die gefundenen Sendersignale automatisch.
1.4 Maximale Programmnummer (Umkehrpunkt C 00):
Taste "PC/AUX" drücken und die Kanalziffern "00" auf einem beliebi-
gen Programmplatz über das Kanal-Menü eingeben. Dadurch können
im Programm-Mode mit den Tasten
Ƕǵ
die nachfolgenden Program-
me nicht mehr fortgeschaltet werden. Liegt der Umkehrpunkt
≤
10 ist
nur eine einstellige Programmplatzanwahl möglich.
1.5 Service-Menü aufrufen bei aktiviertem "Hotel mode on"
Fernbedientaste "

" gedrückt halten und mit der Netztaste einschalten.
Mit den Tasten

über das Menü den Hotel Mode anwählen und mit

Anzeige auf "OFF" stellen.
Bei aktiviertem "Hotel mode" ist der Aufruf des Kanal-Menüs mit der
Taste "PC/AUX" nicht mehr möglich.
1.6 Umschaltung 50Hz oder 60Hz im HF-Betrieb
In Programm-Stellung Taste "PC/AUX" drücken und mit den Tasten
Ǹ Ƿ
die Normumschaltung anwählen. Mit den Tasten

die
Anzeige auf "NT" für den NTSC-Betrieb stellen (nur Geräte mit NTSC).
1.7 Umschaltung 50Hz oder 60Hz im AV-Betrieb
In Stellung AV Taste "PC/AUX" drücken und mit den Tasten

die
Anzeige auf "NTSC ON / OFF" stellen (nur Geräte mit NTSC).
1.8 Decoderbetrieb
Taste "PC/AUX" drücken und mit den Tasten

"DEC" anwählen.

Decoder auf "ON" schalten. Mit "OK" bestätigen.
Damit wird das FBAS-Signal z.B. für Descramblerbetrieb an die AV-
Buchse gelegt, durchläuft den Descrambler und kehrt zur AV-Buchse
zurück. Diese Option ist für jeden Programmplatz individuell einstell-
bar.
2. Einstellungen über das Service-Menü
2.1 Service-Menü aufrufen
Fernbedientaste "
Ǻ
" gedrückt halten und mit der Netztaste einschalten.
2.2 TV Prozessor
Abgleich RGB-Prozessor TDA8374. Siehe Abgleich 3-1 (6.-8.).
2.3 AGC Abgleich
Über das Servicemenü "AGC ALIGN" anwählen. Einstellbar mit den
Tasten
Ǹ Ƿ
zwischen den Werten 0…63. Siehe Abgleich 3-1 (4.).
2.4 AFC Abgleich
Über das Servicemenü "AFC ALIGN" anwählen. Mit den Tasten
Ǹ
oder
Ƿ
bestätigen.
Mit der Aktivierung der AFC-Referenz wird eine ZF-Richtspannung vom
AFC-Ausgang des ZF-Verstärkers-(4) gemessen und als Vergleichs-
wert beim Sendersuchlauf herangezogen. Siehe Abgleich 3-1 (5.).
2.5 OSD Position
Taste "
Ǻ
" auf der Fernbedienung gedrückt halten und mit dem
Netzschalter einschalten. Über das Servicemenü "OSD POSITION"
anwählen und mit den Tasten
Ǹ Ƿ
die Menütafel in die Mitte stellen.

1. Special Functions
1.1 Storing the Analog Values
The entered analog values are either stored automatically after approx.
8 seconds or when switching to standby mode.
1.2 Setting the Optimum Values
Pressing "OK" –> "OK" the television receiver is set to the optimum
values stored for brightness, contrast, colour contrast, tint and volume.
The balance is set to mid-position, treble and bass are linear.

Having stored the minimum volume level, the volume setting bar is
indicated on the screen for approx. 8 seconds as an optical information
when switching the power "on" or switching on from standby.
1.3 ATS Start
Press and hold the "P/C"/AUX" button until "ATS" (Auto Tuning
System) is indicated and confirm with "OK".
The ATS system stores the found station signals automatically.
1.4 Maximum Programme Number (reversing point C 00):
Press the "PC/AUX" button and enter the channel number "00" at any
programme position via the station channel menu. As a result of this,
programme selection with the
Ƕǵ
buttons in programme mode is
limited to the numbers lower than this position. If this reversing point is
≤
10 only one-place programme selection is possible.
1.5 Calling up the Service Menu at "Hotel mode on"
Press and hold button "
Ǻ
" on the remote control and switch on with the
mains button. With the

buttons select the Hotel Mode in the menu
and set the indication to "OFF" using the
Ǹ Ƿ
buttons.
During the time the "Hotel mode" is active it is not possible to call up
the station channel menu with the "PC/AUX" button.
1.6 Switching between 50Hz and 60Hz on HF Mode
On programme mode press the "PC/AUX" button and select the
standards selection menu item with
Ǹ Ƿ
. With the
Ƕǵ
buttons switch
the indication to "NT" for the NTSC television system (only sets with
NTSC).
1.7 Switching between 50Hz and 60Hz on AV Mode
On AV mode, press the "PC/AUX" button and with the
Ƕǵ
buttons set
the indication to "NTSC ON / OFF" (only sets with NTSC).
1.8 Decoder Operation
Press and hold the "PC/AUX" button and select "DEC" using the
Ǹ Ƿ
buttons. With
Ƕǵ
switch the decoder "ON". Confirm with "OK" . In this
way, the CCVS signal, eg. for descrambler operation, is applied to the
AV socket, it passes through the descrambler and is fed back to the AV
socket. This option can be employed individually at any programme
position.
2. Settings via the Service Menu
2.1 Calling up the Service Menu
Press and hold button "

" on the remote control and switch on with the
mains button.
2.2 TV Processor
Alignment RGB Processor TDA8374. See Alignment 3-3 (6.-8.).
2.3 AGC Alignment
Select "AGC ALIGN" in the Service Menu. Alignment is possible in the
range 0...63 with the
Ǹ Ƿ
buttons. See Alignment 3-3 (4.).
2.4 AFC Alignment
Select "AFC ALIGN" in the Service Menu. Confirm with

On activation of the AFC Reference, a rectified IF voltage is measured
at the AFC output of the IF-amplifier-(4) which is used on station search
as a comparative value. See Alignment 3-3 (5.).
2.5 OSD Position
Press and hold button "

" on the remote control and switch on with the
mains button. Select "OSD POSITION" in the Service Menu and with
the
Ǹ Ƿ
buttons position the menu table into the centre of the screen.
